DAY 01 – Bali Pick-Up – Ferry Crossing – Stay in Banyuwangi

Pick-up from your hotel in Bali, including Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Kuta, or Sanur.

Scenic overland drive across the West Bali National Highway toward Gilimanuk Ferry Port.

Rest stop and lunch at a local restaurant near Gilimanuk.
02:00 PM – 02:30 PM
Check-in at Gilimanuk Port and board the public ferry.
02:30 PM – 03:30 PM
Ferry crossing from Gilimanuk, Bali, to Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi, Java.
Note: Java time is 1 hour behind Bali time.

Arrive at Ketapang Ferry Port and drive directly to your hotel in Banyuwangi City.

Early sleep to prepare for the midnight Ijen trek.

DAY 02 – Ijen Blue Fire Tour – Transfer to Mount Bromo Area
12:00 AM – 12:30 AM
Wake up and prepare your warm clothing and personal belongings for the Ijen trek.
12:30 AM – 01:30 AM
Drive from Banyuwangi City to Paltuding Post, the base camp and starting point for the Mount Ijen trek.
01:30 AM – 01:45 AM
Arrive at Paltuding. Meet your local trekking guide, prepare your entrance ticket, and receive your safety equipment, including a gas mask and headlamp.
01:45 AM – 03:45 AM
Begin the approximately 3 km uphill trek toward the Ijen crater rim. The trek generally takes around 1.5–2 hours depending on your pace and physical condition.
03:45 AM – 05:15 AM
Descend into the crater area with your local trekking guide to witness the natural Electric Blue Fire, subject to weather conditions, volcanic activity, and official safety regulations. You may also observe traditional sulfur miners working in the crater.
05:15 AM – 07:30 AM
Climb back up and trek downhill toward Paltuding Base Camp.
07:30 AM – 09:00 AM
Drive back to your hotel in Banyuwangi City.
09:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Breakfast at the hotel, take a hot shower, and complete your packing.
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Check out from the hotel.
11:30 AM – 05:30 PM
Long overland transfer from Banyuwangi to the Mount Bromo area, either Cemoro Lawang or Sukapura Village. A lunch stop will be arranged along the way.
05:30 PM – 06:00 PM
Arrive at your Bromo accommodation, check in, and settle into your room.
06:30 PM – 08:00 PM
Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
08:00 PM onwards
Early rest and sleep to prepare for the early morning Bromo Jeep tour.

DAY 03 – Bromo Golden Sunrise – Crater Rim Hike – Final Drop-Off
03:00 AM – 04:00 AM
Board your private 4WD Bromo Jeep and cross the Sea of Sand toward the sunrise viewpoint, such as Penanjakan 1 or Kingkong Hill.
04:00 AM – 06:00 AM
Enjoy a hot tea or coffee at a local viewpoint café while waiting for and experiencing the spectacular sunrise over Mount Bromo and the surrounding caldera.
06:00 AM – 06:30 AM
Ride the Jeep down from the viewpoint toward the black sand Sea of Sand.
06:30 AM – 08:00 AM
Walk across the Sea of Sand and climb the approximately 250 concrete steps to reach the Bromo Crater rim. Horse riding is available as an optional service at an additional cost.
08:00 AM – 08:30 AM
Return to the Jeep and drive back to your hotel.
08:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Breakfast, hot shower, and final packing.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Check out from the Bromo hotel.
11:00 AM onwards
Final private transfer to your preferred destination.

Estimated driving time from the Bromo area to Surabaya or Malang is approximately 3–4 hours, depending on traffic and final destination.
