Program Itinerary
DAY 1 — BALI DEPARTURE – FERRY CROSSING – BANYUWANGI
08:00–08:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Bali, covering the Seminyak, Kuta, Sanur, or Ubud areas.
08:30 AM–01:00 PM – Scenic private drive through West Bali toward Gilimanuk Ferry Port.
01:00–02:00 PM – Rest and lunch stop at a local restaurant near Gilimanuk.
Lunch is not included.
02:00–02:30 PM – Arrive at Gilimanuk Ferry Port, check in, and board the public ferry.
02:30–03:30 PM Bali Time – Ferry crossing from Gilimanuk to Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi, East Java.
Important: Java is 1 hour behind Bali.
02:30–03:30 PM Western Indonesian Time – Arrival at Ketapang Ferry Port and continue by private vehicle to Banyuwangi City.
03:30–04:00 PM – Drive from Ketapang Harbour to your hotel in Banyuwangi City.
04:00 PM – Check-in at your Banyuwangi hotel.
04:00–06:30 PM – Free time to relax, explore the local area, or prepare for the Ijen excursion.
06:30 PM onwards – Early rest and sleep in preparation for the midnight departure to Mount Ijen.

DAY 2 — IJEN BLUE FIRE – SCENIC TRANSFER TO TUMPAK SEWU
12:00 AM – Wake up and prepare with warm clothing.
12:30–01:30 AM – Drive from Banyuwangi City to Paltuding Post, the main basecamp of Mount Ijen.
01:30–01:45 AM – Arrive at Paltuding. Meet the local trekking guide, complete the entrance procedure, and receive the required safety equipment.
01:45–03:45 AM – Begin the approximately 3 km uphill trek toward the Ijen Crater area. The climb generally takes around 1.5–2 hours depending on your pace.
03:45–05:15 AM – Depending on official safety conditions, descend toward the Blue Fire area to witness the rare natural phenomenon of Ijen Blue Fire and observe the sulfur mining area.
05:15–07:30 AM – Return toward the crater rim and trek back down to Paltuding Basecamp.
07:30–09:00 AM – Drive back to your hotel in Banyuwangi City.
09:00–11:30 AM – Breakfast, hot shower, and final packing.
11:30 AM–12:00 PM – Check-out from the hotel.
Transfer to Tumpak Sewu
12:00–05:30 PM – Long overland journey from Banyuwangi to the Tumpak Sewu area in Lumajang Regency.
A lunch stop will be arranged along the way.
Lunch is not included.
05:30–06:00 PM – Arrive at your homestay/cottage near Tumpak Sewu and check-in.
06:00–07:00 PM – Free time to relax and prepare for the next day’s waterfall trekking.
07:00–08:30 PM – Dinner at the homestay or a local restaurant.
Dinner is not included.
08:30 PM onwards – Rest and overnight stay.

DAY 3 — TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL TREKKING – TRANSFER TO BROMO
06:30–07:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
07:30–08:00 AM – Meet your local waterfall guide and walk to the Tumpak Sewu Panorama Viewpoint.
08:00–08:30 AM – Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Tumpak Sewu, also known as the “Thousand Waterfalls.”
08:30–10:30 AM – Descend into the canyon via bamboo ladders and rocky trails. Continue along the riverbed toward the base of the waterfall.
The trail can be slippery, wet, and challenging, especially after rain.
10:30–11:30 AM – Trek back up to the viewpoint and return to your homestay.
11:30 AM–12:00 PM – Shower, change into dry clothes, and check out.
12:00–01:00 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant in Lumajang.

Transfer to Mount Bromo
01:00–04:30 PM – Drive through the mountain roads toward the Mount Bromo area, either Cemoro Lawang or Sukapura, depending on your accommodation.
04:30–05:00 PM – Arrive at your Bromo hotel/homestay and check-in.
05:00–06:30 PM – Free time to relax and prepare for the early morning Bromo Jeep tour.
06:30–08:00 PM – Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant.
Dinner is not included.
08:00 PM onwards – Early rest and sleep.
Overnight: Bromo area

DAY 4 — BROMO GOLDEN SUNRISE – CRATER EXPLORATION – FINAL DROP-OFF
03:00–04:00 AM – Depart from your hotel by private 4WD Bromo Jeep and travel across the Sea of Sand toward the sunrise viewpoint.
The viewpoint may be Penanjakan, King Kong Hill, or another suitable viewpoint, depending on weather and local conditions.
04:00–06:00 AM – Enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the Bromo Caldera, with views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru.
Hot tea/coffee may be available from local vendors at the viewpoint.
Personal purchases are not included.
06:00–06:30 AM – Return by Jeep toward the Sea of Sand.
06:30–08:00 AM – Cross the Sea of Sand and continue toward Mount Bromo Crater.
You may walk or optionally ride a horse at your own expense. Climb approximately 250 steps to reach the crater rim and enjoy the view inside the active Bromo Crater.
08:00–08:30 AM – Return to the Jeep and drive back to your hotel.
08:30–10:30 AM – Breakfast, shower, and final packing.
10:30–11:00 AM – Check-out from the Bromo hotel.
Final Transfer
11:00 AM onwards – Continue your private transfer to your final destination.
